Block the Bad Stuff is developed for Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Routers and the E4200v2.

Easily add one-touch filtering and security to your entire wireless network with Block the Bad Stuff.

Choose from three levels of protection:

Level 1: Filters Security threats (malware, phishing sites and scam sites)
Level 2: Filters Security + Adult Sites
Level 3: Filters Security + Adult Sites + Non-Family Friendly (gambling, drugs, violence, etc)

Block the Bad Stuff eliminates threats at the router, so all devices on the network are protected.

The sites filtered are automatically and continually updated by Norton(TM) ConnectSafe, an industry leader in internet security.

Note: this application will not work with some ISPs which do not respect custom DNS settings.

Block the Bad Stuff does not currently add filtering for "Guest" networks due to a bug in the Linksys firmware. A fix for this is supposedly in the works but there is no known ETA.

Block the Bad Stuff is developed for Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Routers and the Linksys E4200v2 Router. In order to use this App, you will need to have a Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router or a Linksys E4200v2 Router and create a Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Account with Linksys. EA9200 model shipped with firmware 1.1.5.163672 was not working during initial tests, however after updating the firmware to 1.1.5.164615 it works.

Note: the list above are actual router devices weve tested the app on. In principal the app should work for other Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Routers.

Block the Bad Stuff runs on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch and remotely programs your router to add the selected filtering level. No changes are made to your iOS device; the changes are made directly on the router. Block the Bad Stuff is currently available for iOS only and is not currently available for any other platform.
